For payments this small, card fees would eat a large part of the amount. One payment a year keeps the price low for everyone.
Spendlivo is a personal, non-profit initiative. If it helps you and you can afford it, you can add a contribution to the yearly payment.
A space owner can also pay for the other members: 1,200 Lek per year per person.
Frequently asked questions
Does Spendlivo transfer money?
No. Spendlivo keeps track of who paid and who owes whom. Payments between you are made in cash or by bank, and then marked as settled in the app.
Can space members see my personal expenses?
No. In a shared space, only that space's expenses are visible. Your personal expenses, income and budgets stay private.
How is a shared expense counted in my statistics?
Only your share counts. If you pay 9,000 Lek for three people, 3,000 Lek goes into your statistics, while 6,000 Lek is shown as the amount the others owe you back.
Can I use it in Euro?
Yes. You choose your main currency in the settings, and each shared space can have its own currency, for example Euro for a trip abroad.
Is there a phone app?
Yes. Spendlivo installs straight from the browser, without the Play Store or App Store, and opens from the home screen like any other app. See how to install it.
How much does it cost?
The first month is free and no card is needed. After that the subscription costs 100 Lek a month, the same price for students and families. It is paid once a year: 1,200 Lek for 12 months, including the trial month.
What happens if I don't subscribe?
You are not charged. After the trial month your account switches to read-only mode: your data stays safe and you can view and export it, but you can't add anything new. You can subscribe at any time.
Why is there a fee?
Spendlivo is a personal initiative and is not for profit. The fee only covers running costs, such as servers, emails and verification SMS. Anyone who wants to can support the project with an extra contribution.
